Toddler Group

The Toddler Group is an informal playgroup for children aged from 0 - 5 years although it is most suitable for those up to the age of 3. It is designed to provide a warm, friendly and safe environment for children. It is run by volunteers as a community outreach.

The club is open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 12 noon during term time.

There are a number of activities for the children to enjoy and take part in . These include:

* Book reading/Quiet Space
* Home Corner
* Art & Craft Tables
* Fine Manipulative activites (train track, Lego, jigsaws etc)
* Physical Development (trampoline, slide, climbing framt etc)
* Push, pull and ride-along wheeled toys

The hall is divided into two areas – one for the push & ride toys and the other (carpeted) for general play. A soft floor area is set aside for the very young. The small room off the hall is laid out for the quieter activities.

The charge for each session is £1.50 for the first child (and adult) and 50p each for any extra children. A variety of free snacks (including healthier options) are available at any time for both adults and children.
